1.00I had great expectations for this private tour of the gallery. I was hoping to learn more about famous artists and the masterpieces. The information that we received was insultingly simple. Guide would not be able to hold attention of a child with his narrative. He was not enthusiastic and appeared to convey bare minimum. Shortly into to the tour I felt that my intelligence was insulted. I spend serious amount of money and wasted two hours of my life.

The Worst Private Tour of the Prado Ever!

1.00This private tour couldn’t have been worse. It was supposed to be a two hour guided tour through the Prado museum. Our guide picked us up at 10 o’clock, which was the start time of the tour. We then had to take taxis from our hotel to the museum. Taxis weren’t pre-booked so we were standing around waiting for taxis to come. By the time we got through the traffic and to the museum and through security with our tickets, It was almost 11 o’clock. A while wasted hour. We had one hour with our guide. This tour cost over $400 and I’m still trying to figure out what it was I was paying for. Our guide, Sophia, spoke quietly and we weren’t provided with headsets. She lost my husband after about five minutes because he couldn’t hear her. This was not worth the money.
