This was an informative and enjoyable day in Ribera Del Duero. We visited three unique and different wineries. The wines we sampled were of the highest quality and each winery shared their passion of wine making, and explained the differences in the wines selected. The food accompanying the wines were also delicious and generous. Our guide Ismael was also passionate and knowledgeable about wine making and also was very familiar of the region. He was also very entertaining and friendly. It was a perfect day out and I highly recommend this tour to both novice and expert wine aficionados. 10/10

Be prepared for an exceptional experience. This was perhaps one of the best wine tours we have ever participated in. We were in the wine business for 13 years and went on many winery visits. Ishmael, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and made our trip to the Ribero Del Duero area seamless. We visited three wineries and had a minimum of three wines to taste at each one. This wine region has always been one of my favorites and this tour certainly did not disappoint. All of the wineries offered food for us to enjoy while tasting the wines. Every winery was unique in its own right. The first winery was a new startup. They have been in business since 2018 and their red wines were just coming into their own. The second winery was a beautiful state of the art facility. Before visiting the last winery, we stopped at a small town for a delicious tapas lunch. The third winery was the oldest winery and the most fascinating. There are a series of tunnels that run several kilometers underground. The winery itself dates back many centuries. This is a must do side trip if you’re planning on traveling to Madrid. It was worth every penny.

An excellent wine tour given by Ismael. He was knowledgeable about the region and the wineries. It was a fund day that got us out of Madrid and into the beautiful Spanish countryside. We drank some good wine in some lovely locations. If you have the time, this is a wonderful way to spend a day.

It was wonderful driving out of the city and seeing the countryside. The first winery was so great with lots of history. I really enjoyed going into the wine caves from 400 years ago! The wines we tasted were very good. The tour guide, Muna, was very knowledgeable and filled us in with many facts about wine in Spain . And the guides at each winery were very expert and gave us much knowledge. Our group size of 6 people was perfect too. It was a very enjoyable day for my husband and me!

  • Long day. Definitely worth it

The wineries we visited with Ismael were all wonderful. From a new small producer to one connected to a large winery. All of the wines were wonderful representations of the region and the wine maker’s passion. We had lunch in a tavern and shared plates. It IS a very long bus ride at each end.
