What To Expect
Alcazar of Segovia
one of the most famous and well-preserved medieval castles in the world. The Alcazar probably reminds you of some Disney castles, as its exterior architecture served as inspiration for some of Walt Disney's films, such as Cinderella's Castle or the Queen's Castle in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
After the visit to the Alcazar, we will walk up to the Plaza Mayor, where we will find different monuments that will impress us, such as the Town Hall, the Juan Bravo Theatre and the Cathedral of Segovia, where we will have a complete guided tour of its interior. At the end of the visit to the Cathedral you will have some free time to enjoy Segovia at your leisure.

1.00Guide makes tour great or poor. So far worse tour from Viator. Guide Christina, couldn’t care less about our experience in Segovia. She was talking maybe, an hour, out of our 5 hours tour( it’s max, including tour instructions) I would give a 0 stars, if I could.
Perfect to see the must-sees of Segovia

4.00We made this visit with our 2 teenagers and it allowed us to see the must-sees of Segovia. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the tour is in 2 languages. So at the castle, there are two 15-minute visits in each language, the others rest or go to the toilet in the meantime. So we can’t see everything... I would have liked to have just one language but it wasn’t that bad. The guide was superb. Note that this tour makes madrid-segovia castle by bus and then one walks from parking to the castle, from the castle to the cathedral and from the cathedral to the bridge on foot. The bus returns to pick us up at the bridge. If you have issues with your feet or legs, look at google maps of distances to help you assess walking time. We loved walking through the streets (which are pedestrian) but as I didn’t know, I ran out of water:) Nice experience!
